Learn how to play traditional music with Yang Wei, artist-in- residence at the Chinese Fine Arts Society. He’ll play the pipa, also known as a Chinese lute, and you’ll get hands-on in GarageBand on iPad to play a digital version. The Sound-of- Wishes Ensemble will then perform on a trio of guzheng, a 21-stringed zither, as calligrapher Yijun Hu draws to the music using iPad and Apple Pencil.
