Migratory Journeys Competition – Submission deadline October 29!

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our Third International Music Composition Competition!   The competition was announced on May 3, 2010 and is open to compsers worldwide. Free registration deadline is July 31, 2010, after which a $25 Registration Fee will apply. Submission deadline is October 29, 2010. Prizes will be awarded to composers who create new works inspired by the wandering, resettling, and emigration of Chinese diaspora population through the world.
Professional division awards:
First place – $3,500; Second Place – $2,000; Third Place – $1,000.
Student Division Awards:
First Place – $1,000; Second Place – $500; Third Place – $250. Read more…
