Barbara Tiao 1934 – 2008

We are saddened to share with you the tragic news of the departure of our beloved founder, Mrs. Barbara Tiao, on March 12, 2008.

 She will live on through her legacy of promoting Chinese music and cross cultural exchange with the western world.

Barbara TiaoThere will be a visitation on Friday, March 21st from 2:30 pm until 9 pm at the Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont Ave. Chicago, IL 60657.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 10:30 am at the University Church, 5655 S. University Avenue, Chicago, IL 60637 with a reception to follow at the Quadrangle Club 1155 E. 57th St. Chicago, IL 60637.  

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Barbara Tiao Memorial Fund, c/o The Chinese Fine Arts Society, 1312 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605.
